Advanced Technical Development Program
Elevate Your Game – One Skill at a Time
Our Technical Development Program is designed for competitive players aged 6–18 who are ready to sharpen their skills, improve their confidence on the ball, and take their game to the next level. This program runs once a week in 5-week blocks, with each block focused on a specific technical area of the game. Each session is 1 hour long, with high-energy, high-repetition activities designed to maximize player development.
What to Expect
- Age-Appropriate & Competitive – Sessions designed specifically for advanced youth players aged 6–18
- High Ball Contact – Players spend maximum time on the ball, improving confidence and technique
- Professional Coaching – Delivered by experienced Fort Lauderdale Rush FC coaches
- Progressive Curriculum – Each block builds on the previous one for long-term improvement
Training Program Details
Start Date: September 5th
Schedule: Every Friday (5 weeks per block)
Location: Mills Pond Park
Session Times:
- U8 – U12: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- U13 & Older: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Duration: 1-hour sessions
Cost: $75 per block

Topic 1
Focus Area: Speed and Agility
Dates: September 5th - October 3rd
- Improve first-step quickness and explosive acceleration
- Change direction at speed with and without the ball
- Gain confidence in 1v1 attacking and defending situations
Topic 2
Focus Area: Dribbling & Attacking Skills
Dates: October 10th - November 7th
- Master close control in tight spaces
- Learn and apply creative skill moves to beat defenders
- Develop both dominant and non-dominant foot dribbling ability
Topic 3
Focus Area: Ball Striking
Dates: November 14th - December 19th
- Develop technique of passing and shooting
- Short and long passing accuracy under pressure
- Understand how to use the different areas of the foot
- Shooting and finishing in game-like scenarios
Topic 4
Focus Area: Receiving and First Touch
Dates: January 9th – February 6th
- Receiving with different surfaces of the foot and body
- Controlling aerial balls and passes
- Turning quickly into space after receiving
Topic 5
Focus Area: Defending
Dates: February 20th – March 20th
- 1v1 defending techniques and positioning
- Tackling timing and recovery runs
- Defensive body shape and pressing
Topic 6
Focus Area: Crossing & Finishing
Dates: March 27th – April 24th
- Delivering accurate crosses from different positions
- Timing attacking runs into the box
- Finishing from crosses under pressure
